Clubhouse Rehabilitation Program
Clubhouse Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program
A Clubhouse is a community program that supports people living with mental illness. The people who attend are called members, and they help choose what activities and goals they want to work on. Clubhouses are welcoming places where members can build friendships, learn new skills, and take part in meaningful work. This helps members grow in confidence, gain independence, and feel more connected to their community.

Outpatient Support
Outpatient Services
At Hiawatha Behavioral Health, outpatient therapy supports youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building emotional wellness and navigating everyday challenges. Our team works alongside each individual and their caregivers to create a plan based on their goals, strengths, and needs.
Therapy can help with concerns like anxiety, depression, life stress, and coping with past or current experiences, all in a supportive and understanding environment.
What to Expect
Care begins with a thorough assessment to determine the right level of support. From there, we develop an individualized plan of service. Therapy may include individual sessions or small group options, depending on what works best.
When appropriate, group therapy offers a chance to build skills, connect with others, and feel supported in a shared setting.
Peer-Delivered Support
Peer-Delivered or Peer-Operated Support Services
Peer support services connect youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to individuals and other families who understand what they’re going through. Peer supporters have shared life experiences and offer a unique kind of understanding that builds trust and comfort.
By sharing their own stories, they provide encouragement, guidance, and hope. This support helps individuals build confidence, strengthen their well-being, and feel more connected as they move forward in their journey.
